Feel the energy!!!!!, August 8, 2000
I just got back from a "pre-carnaval" party in Brazil and spent five days dancing while Chiclete Com Banana led me, and thousands of fans, down a five mile stretch of beach. I thought nothing could capture that live experience, until I heard this CD. Borboleta Azul gave me goose bumps! It sounds just like you are at their concert. The songs are the most energetic in their collection, but my favorite tune off this album is still the romantic ballad "Diga que Valeu". If you are a fan, or want to know what a Brazilian carnival band sounds like, this is the best CD you can buy . . .you can almost feel thousands of fans right next to you singing along to the tunes.
