Good Vet Section - The rest Zilch -fm BC owner,

The cover is attractive, and the health-vet section is good. The rest is frequently self contradictory and potentially harmful to both BC future owners and any BC puppies treated as urged by the author. The absence of references should be a powerful warning that the author may have cribbed the contents from multiple sources which may be biased and fallacious. Examples of gross errors: The inside front cover stated "Noses: Color matches the primary body color." and on the facing page "Color [sic - primary body color]: All colors . . ." which includes white; so the author claimed white BCs have white nose? Oh my? The table of contents described obtaining a Puppy as a "Shopping spree" - which is a stupid way for decent adult humans to search for a potentially dangerous BC puppy, as the author implied that BCs may be, at length in comments of the section on "Behavior." On Page 13, the author alleged "power of the eye to control stock, was bred into the breed from gundogs like setters, pointers and spaniels." - none of which breeds "mesmerize" by eye their prey as the author claims BCs do and therefor could not have provided the BC "Eye."! Other gross errors were too numerous to list here and the volume of such errors brings discredit on the publisher for this book and might conceivably indicate use of caution in considering their others.
