Indespensible! A truly wonderful read for a border terrier owner!,

This book was one of the best books I have come across for dogs and border terriers combined. I was very imformative on all subjects (History, Characteristics, Breed Standard,Puppy Infomation, Training, Health Care, Senior Infomation, Showing, and Behavior). I do however advise this for singularly Border Terrier owners simply because all of the training tips, feeding tips, history and breed standard are all for this breed in particular. All of the infomation is clear and understandable. There are color photos through out (and that was something I was looking for!) and it was generally a wonderful read. It showed how to groom your border and clean him up each week. I advise ANYONE looking for a book on borders buy this straight away! It is a life long, practical, and highly comprehendable book for all ages.

I had already chosen the Border Terrier as my breed of choice, but the discussion on the breed was extremely helpful. This entire book is full of useful information for the brand new owner, from how to groom your puppy to first aid - money well spent.

This book prepared me for my Border Terrier puppy. We have her now and I refer to the book when I need to and it's very helpful. I highly recommend this book to anyone considering a Border Terrier. They are wonderful dogs!
