Borderlands 2 was released with major, major bugs and flaws, that have not been corrected to this day. What is even more frustrating is that Gearbox and 2K have been very slow and measured in their acknowledgment of the existence of problems. I have no idea of the factors that are involved in what would make a game work on one XBOX 360, and not work on another, but that is the case. My son owns the game, plays the game, and has not experienced any problems. From day one, I experienced random sudden freezes, which can only be solved by rebooting XBOX. This is very, very frustrating, when all your progress is lost and you have to go way back to a prior point. You lose loot, guns, XP and some of reported complete loss of characters and BadAss points (explained elsewhere). In this thread, you can see that many people have returned the game, and also see the lack of communication from Gearbox. Had I known what I would be experiencing, I would not have bought this game, Also, I will not be pre-ordering any Gearbox/2K game again. If the game worked as it should, the rating would have been 5 stars on both criteria. But, it is not fun knowing you paid full price for a non-working game. Don't say you weren't warned.
