This review is from: Bored Bill (Paperback)
Science fiction. Early elementary. I would probably use this book for any elementary age.
Bill is bored and thinks his owner, Mrs. Pickle, is boring. He just sits around and doesn't want to do anything she does. One day while taking a boring walk the wind blows Mrs. Pickle up into a tree and Bill into outer space. Bill lands on a purple planet and thinks it's exciting to meet all the aliens. All aliens do is lie around all day, so Bill thinks they are boring. He longs for Mrs. Pickle and teaches the aliens everything Mrs. Pickle does. The aliens help Bill go home and he tells Mrs. Pickle she's not boring and he'll never complain again.

This review is from: Bored Bill (Hardcover)
Imaginatively authored and charmingly illustrated by Liz Pichon, Bored Bill is the picturebook story Bill who can't find anything to interest him. Creatively carrying readers through an imaginative tale in which Bill's owner is never bored and always on the go, including one windy day with Bill finding himself carried into the air and off into space where, when he finally lands on a planet, he finds aliens who are bored as well! Bored Bill is ideal and entertaining reading for young children as a fun and clever story of self-discovery.
