I've purchased the Boris Vallejo calendars for about five years. If you enjoy first-class fantasy art, you don't need to look any further than these calendars. The detail in the drawings is unbelievable. When you start looking at the hands and feet of the characters, it's amazing what you find. The detail in the backgrounds is also fascinating. Don't make the mistake of just giving each month's picture a quick glance. Sit down and really look at the detail. The more you look, the more you see. And, the narratives are fun and interesting. As long as Boris and Julie put out calendars, I'll be buying them.

NOTHING IS MORE INTRIGUING THAN AN ARTIST WHO HAS REAL KNOWLEDGE AND CAN EXPRESS THAT KNOWLEDGE & TALENT IN DIFFERENT MEDIUMS. BORIS IS DEDICATED TO BEING A BODY BUILDER MUCH OF THE INSPIRATION COMES FROM HIS OWN EXPERTISE AS A BODY BUILDER. I MET BORIS IN THE EARLY 80'S AND TRAINED ALONGSIDE OF HIM FOR THE ENTIRE DECADE. CLEARLY, MUCH OF HIS INSPIRATION COMES FROM HIS OWN PASSION FOR & LOVE OF THE HUMAN FORM. ANYONE WHO WANTS TO KNOW WHAT A WELL DEFINED/HEALTHY BODY SHOULD LOOK LIKE SHOULD BUY THE WORKS OF BORIS. OCCASIONALLY I WOULD LOOK FOR PEOPLE I KNOW THAT HAVE CAUGHT THIS ARTIST'S ATTENTION. HAVE RECOGNIZED MANY PEOPLE & AWARD WINNING BODIES. THE ART WORK OF THIS TALENTED ARTIST & PROFESSIONAL IS ALSO A LEARNING TOOL. OUR FAMILY USED LAST YEARS CALENDAR, AS A TOOL WITH THE YOUNG TEENAGERS TO DISCUSS ART & HOW WE ALL SHOULD WORK TO DEVELOP OUR BODIES. THE BORIS CALENDARS& ALL OF HIS WORKS ARE A MUST IN OUR HOME.
