Ce disque resume bien le caractere de Boris Vian. Tout comme ses romans et nouvelles, les textes de ces chansons sont un melange d'absurde, de realisme et d'humour. Les accompagnements musicaux sont quelquefois ordinaire, mais la seule qualite des paroles merite 5 etoile.

My older syster introduced me to the music of Boris Vian. And i must admit, it is probably one of the most interresting artist i have ever heard. Vian's lyrics are brilliant, amusing and reflects social issues accurately and the music follows the lyrics flow. He's a social poet that will make you travell though life with his storytelling songs without being a heavy flight. Songs like "La java des bombes atomiques" will make you laugh and songs like "Le deserteur" will move you. His brilliant music will not leave you indifferent, that why i highly recommend "Boris Vian chante Boris Vian". PS: there was a horrible mistake regarding the rating of this album, i gve it 4 STARS and not 1. Thanks. PZ
