I have been wanting to replace my blue cobalt for some time now, as we have a new color scheme with more nature-based colors. These 14 1/2 inch glasses are a perfect size for everyday use, wash up nicely in the dishwasher and the family really likes them. They appear to be good quality glasses, and have been a nice replacement for the former glasses. My only reservation is that I wanted them to be a bit more green-colored in appearance. However, I consider that a very small criticism--these are perfect for our use.

Very good value for the money, and the glasses really are beautiful. I ordered two sets, one in green and one in blue; they both work well with my china.

I have used these glasses for one year before writing my review. They seem to be holding up OK. In that year only one of them has broken.

I have alternated between washing them in the top rack of the dishwasher and hand-washing them. Oddly enough neither of these washing methods is what caused them to break. They are listed as being stackable and every so often I would stack them, nested, about three high to save space. I was taking one of them out of the one below it and the one on the bottom just shattered right in my hand!

Other than that I have been pleased. I like the weight of them (not to heavy, not too lightweight) and the size is just perfect for mealtimes for me. I also have been very pleased with the color because it is a subtle green that goes well with my ivy-patterned wallpaper in the kitchen and ivy/floral plates.

I took away one star simply because I had been so thrilled to finally have a full set of 12 matching glasses and now I only have 11. :-(
