I have never made a Martini and this product made me look like a pro, very easy to use. Sealed well and unsealed easily, with gentle rocking. No problems. Enjoy!

I've had this shaker for a couple of years, and I loved it the entire time; until now. As with any other Boston style shaker, it stays together when you want and comes apart easily when you want, which I prefer over a classic shaker. However, it is not as robust as some other shakers I have used. After steady (approximately once or twice per week) usage for the past 2-3 years, the glass cracked down the side and split out from the glass half, causing a nice cut as I was shaking. So...it worked great for a while, but when it failed, ouch!

Either that or don't mix with ice and enjoy your beverages at room temperature! :)

My husband always had to fight with his standard shaker to get it open after mixing drinks. This stays together when you want it together and comes apart easily - when you want it to. Works great!

I like the shaker. It would have been better if it were paired up with a strainer.

I inherited one of these from a friend and loved it. I used it fairly regularly and put it in the dishwasher. It was at least 5 years old, probably more, though I don't know when he originally purchased. The lettering and lines held up perfectly. Glass just started to crack, starting at the top and moving down the sides. I can't complain too much, it's lasted a while through some rough use. I'm buying another... maybe no dishwasher this time. Or perhaps taking the silicone gasket off the top before it goes in the dishwasher would decrease the expansion/contraction stresses from the heat in the dishwasher?

The reason I give this 1 star is because the glass broke after a few months after just a few uses. I never dropped it or anything but it broke when I twisted the glass and the metal apart. Another problem with this is that the rubber part would not stay on the glass after shaking. It would stick inside the metal part. I wish I could get a refund for this.

I got this for my sister and she loves it. I've used it too and it seals and breaks easily. My sister also enjoys the drink recipes on the glass. She takes off the rubber seal on the glass when washing it.

Bottom line great product great price no complaints!

This was exactly what I was looking for. I especially wanted something that can measure half-ounces as well as ounces. I'm not taking chances with the dishwasher and I've just been handwashing the measuring glass.

Works great! If you still have an all metal shaker trash it and get this one.

Do not order the all metal shakers- the lids are impossible to remove- this boston style shaker is what the pros use
