This is a small bud vase that can hold 2-3 slim stem small flowers, or 1-2 thicker stem flowers. Very pretty glass vase. Heavy bottom with medium thick walls. Doesn't look like it will chip easily. Was an excellent gift for a gardener that I did not know well. Thinking about ordering one for myself.

I got this because I needed a gift for a friend who I usually get a vase for. It is just how it worked out, meaning getting her a vase for a gift. However, this was not my vase of choice because the other Bormioli vases, one that I preferred much more, were back ordered and I needed one by Christmas.

You don't quite notice it in the picture, but the way the base is formed and how it flutes upward is very striking. It is not a very tall vase. Even so, usually bud vases are not very stable and maybe they hold one or two stems and this one will hold more. So the design and form combine into an elegant functionality.

For instance, the way the eye catches the base and goes upward is nice. I was surprised. I even ordered a couple of extra ones for future gifts.

Simple, elegant, and find myself cutting a pretty flower and putting in the vase more often as this vase is so well-balanced and easy to use. Great price too.

this little vase is beautiful and the perfect size for a single bud. the opening is wide enough for a few wildflowers if you like as well. the vase is delicate and well made , perfect for the breakfast table.the bottom is heavy enough to make it very stable as well so it doesnt tip over easily. i was very impressed for the price.

I was going to give this to my boyfriend's family as part of the gifts, but it turned out to be a very small vase and can't be a "gift" gift. But other than that, it's a nice vase that you can put about one/two branch in it.

These vases are nicely constructed and are built very solid so if they fall over they are much less likely to break but more imporantly, they are very elegant. I received 2 of these for my birthday but I think I am going to buy 2 more for my mantle.

They have a nice tint to them with no sharp edges for cuts.
