At first I was satisfied with the second one I received ( the first one came broken due to poor mfg packaging ) but after short time the neck broke when popping the stopper in. All in all I'd have to conclude cheap price poor quality glass.

We have been using the new carafe about 2 months and really like it. First, we love the shapely design. We think it looks attractive on our kitchen counter. Second, we think it is a good value for the money (we paid less than $15 on Amazon). Third, the top is large enough that we can pour our box wine into it without using a funnel. (Now you understand why we wanted an attractive decanter.) The stopper has a plastic base which makes a good seal for keeping air out of it. It is often days between uses. We have noticed that when you pour out a glass of wine, a single drop hangs on to the rim. That's no big problem for us because a napkin or dish cloth cleans it up quickly and we have another carafe for white wine that we keep in the refrigerator that does the same thing.

My wife and I enjoy a glass of port wine in the evening, but it's not very convenient when you don't have a decanter. After reading some cautions about lead crystal (supposedly the lead can leach out of the crystal into the wine), I found this glass decanter on Amazon and decided to try it. Unfortunately, the first one was destroyed enroute. The good news is that the second attempt arrived intact. We've only had it for a few weeks now and have already received some favorable comments on its appearance. I also worried about capacity, but I shouldn't have as a standard bottle of wine doesn't come close to filling it.

I ordered this decanter in order to decant a couple of bottles with degraded corks. I was looking for something attractive and inexpensive. This decanter fit the bill. It is nice looking, and has a seal around the stopper to keep air out. I was a bit worried when I received the box as I heard glass clanging around. There was no packaging around the glass. Fortunately it was the stopper clanging against the body, and there was no damage done. You really can't go wrong, it's simple, inexpensive, and attractive.

This decanter is a great value for under $15 if it arrives in one piece. The thin carboard box it came in contained no padding, so the glass was able to bounce around freely. Thankfully the glass is thick enough, so that it isn't too fragile and the Amazon packaging can compensate. The quality of the bottle is fairly good and I wouldn't be ashamed to leave it sitting at the table with dinner guests. The visible seems in the glass clearly indicate a mass produced item. The glass stopper is hollow with a plastic covered base that provides for a snug, air tight fit.

I paired this decanter with the WMF Vino Stainless-Steel 4-Way Funnel and they work perfectly together. The neck of the decanter is wide enough to receive the base of the funnel and the wine has plenty of room to gently cascade down the sides of the bottle. A 750 ml bottle of wine easily fits in and there is still enough surface area to allow the wine to breathe. You will not get an entire magnum 1.5l bottle in this decanter.

I like the shape of this decanter more than the popular style with the wide base. You don't have to tip it almost upside down to get the last glass of wine out. I would recommend wrapping a towel or napkin around the neck to catch that single drop of wine that always tends to remain on the lip.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this decanter, buying it online and all, and I needed it to arrive intact in 2 days for a party. It showed up right on time, unbroken. It's quite large - it fit a little more than 1 1/2 bottles of wine in it. Everyone commented on it - and no one had an issue pouring from it. I was a little worried it might be one of those bottles that dribbles no matter how carefully you pour, but it was actually a very clean spout - the liquid went right into the glasses. I won't put this in the dishwasher - however, I had no problem at all putting a drop of soap in there with some hot water, putting the top on and shaking it for a good minute and then rinsing. I dried it upside down for a few hours, and then flipped it over so all of the condensation could evaporate inside. It came out sparkling. I will be purchasing another so that I have one for red, one for white. Very pretty design, too!

We bought this decanter about ten years ago but last Summer it ended up crashing onto the cement during a large cookout. We never thought we would find another just like it, but there it was on Amazon and even cheaper then what we first payed for it. We're so happy to get our old friend back!

Was looking for an inexpensive wine decanter with a stopper. This fit the bill perfectly-not too tall and easy pouring. Purchased 2 - 1 for white wine and 1-for red wine. Would recommend this decanter.

I never realized how difficult is was to find a decent, affordable wine decanter until I started looking for one in the department store chains and on their websites. So thank you Amazon for helping me out! This wine decanter was purchased for my parents who discarded of their old decanter because the cork seal on the stopper had deteriorated. We are pleased with the style and size of the bottle. It shouldn't be too difficult to clean and the plastic seal on the stopper won't dry out like cork does. And for the price, I felt that I couldn't go wrong. As someone else stated, it holds a full 750 ml bottle of wine. If you buy jug wine, this is easy to fill and is a lot more manageable to pour from. I'm glad I decided to purchase two.

I bought this decanter for a craft project, and it is beautiful. I was so excited with the product and the quality. It looks beautiful.
