One of the jars broke in shipment. I have not used the jars yet, so my review isn't related to their quality for preserving.
The box used for shipping in had no notation of 'fragile' or 'this side up'. (There was another box inside of the shipping box that had these notations, but how useless is that). And the shipping box was falling apart upon arrival. Since it appears that Amazon only gives refunds via returns, and you should not ship broken glass, there isn't a practical way to get a refund (1/12th of $34 is hardly worth it, but the situation is wrong in principle). |
