I bought these after having found the red wine glasses at a local TJ Maxx. Very comfortable to hold, elegant look with beautiful stems. The glass makes a lovely sound when you tap it. I can't compliment Amazon on its careful shipping enough; I received all four in pristine condition. I'm not enough of a wine connaisseur to tell you more about the way in which the glass compliments/does not compliment white wines, but I can tell you that these are my go-to glasses when I drink anything from rose to Prosecco. I have gotten a number of compliments on both the red and the white wine sets and would heartily recommend both of these to interested potential customers.

Well, I don't know if you have ever been in this situation...

You are hosting a dinner party, and you break out your lovely and cherished wine glasses... and then you remember the guest list. Oh, no! Your dear, sweet (all- thumbs) friend is arriving, and it is almost certain that she will knock over one of your favorite glasses... what to do?

Okay, who I am I kidding... I am that clumsy hostess who knocks glasses over at parties... (and all without too much help from the chard!)

These glasses look elegant enough to strategically place in the hands of your less than graceful guests (or yourself) without insulting them with the ugly stemware- they are also affordable enough to replace when they break... not that mine have yet. It's just nice not to have to worry.

The glass is thicker than Speiglau or Reidels, but most folks wouldn't notice the difference. For parties, or for everyday dinner wine glasses, they are a great value.

The look good, they hold up well, what more can you really ask from a wine glass? It's got a very handy flat bit that attaches to the stem so it doesn't wobble or fall over. It also has a nicely shaped goblet part to hold a good serving of white wine (and if your a generous pourer...double that). And the stem is plenty long enough to grip comfortably. I'm drinking out of one of them right now. Yum.

If you like a wine glass that has a bit of weight to it, I think you'll love this one. They're not too heavy, but also don't feel like other wine glass that you're afraid to touch for fear of knocking them over. These are beautiful yet functional. I've found my brand of wine glasses from now on.

These glasses feel great in your hand. Swirling the wine creates a pleasant bouquet of flavors, which enhances the wine's taste. The glasses improve the entire experience of drinking a fine wine. I'm happy with these glasses and recommend them.

for the money it is a good value and very functional. It has a nice size and good clarity with no mold lines.
