I've been looking high and low for lead-free Decanters that wont cost me an arm and a leg. This was perfect except I would take away a half a star for the plastic around the stopper. This decanter isn't very heavy but then again it isn't crystal. It looks very classy on my tables and I've gotten many compliments.

I was looking for a non-crystal decanter. Purchased this. not bad actually, and a great price. Solid glass, decent weight, not too afraid of breaking it. overall a good buy. I have one complaint however; the seal for the top is made of plastic and is a bit awkward to open and close, but it seals enough to keep things outside out and splashing around of the contents in. If you're looking for a good decanter and are not willing to spend $70+, this is for you.
