This is a entry-level set consisting of a decanter and 6 glasses. The first thing I noticed was that the stopper on the decanter was pastic, and not glass, as I expected. This makes the decanter look and feel a little cheap. But on the positive side, both the decanter and glasses seem to be well made and look nice on display. Each feels solid in your hands, which gives them a rich apearance. The pattern on the glassware also gives it a touch of elegance. All in all, the set is worth the money paid. If you are looking for whiskey set that looks good and won't break the bank, I would recommend this. However, if you don't mind spending $20 more, there are other sets that offer true elegance.

Purchased this whiskey set via macy's.com on amazon and it arrived in tact! Other reviews stated the set arrived in pieces, so this worried me. I bought this for my boyfriend's birthday and I am sure he will love it! He saw a similar item for mucho $$$ at chrome hearts, which I would never be able to afford, so this set is a great alternative. The glasses are not super light, but not the high-end heavy kind either...we're in our twenties, so I think for us, this is good enough. If you are buying for a older person who really knows their stuff.. you might consider the more high-end sets.
