A constant point of inspiration., January 18, 2001
This review is from: Born Bad V.6 (Audio CD)
If you know and love the sounds of the Cramps, and still haven't heard about this series of albums...well, I envy you. Your in for a massive treat.
If you don't know the Cramps, but take a general interest in music from one of the golden aeras of popular culture, I still think you'll find this one a good point of focus. For a lover of raunchy rock'n'roll and weird musical personalities this one is packed with gems.
Born Bad is in the line of compilation series like Pebbles and Nuggets, but way cooler. And that says a lot, - Pebbles and Nuggets being pretty cool, too.
I've owned Born Bad 6 (and 1-5) for ten years, and haven't tired of it one sec. It's a constant point of inspiration for me, and one of the most valuable things I own. No less!
