Book Description

May 1, 2003
A fascinating study of behaviour and its consequences, this work will make a huge impact in our thinking about crime ...and how to prevent it. In this controversial and shocking book, Barry Sudiker proves, through research and statistics, that both genius and criminality are inherited. He maintains that heredity plays a role in everything from I.Q. and eye colour to morals and the propensity for evil. Even more stunning are the author's case studies and examples that support his theories. In the classic nature vs. nurture debate, Sudiker insists that environment accounts for only three percent of one's behaviour. Genetics and predispositions account for the rest, which are passed down from the parents and grandparents. The author delves into controversial topics as Eugenics, starting: "Genetics, by shaping a human beings characteristics, determines everything from intelligence to the propensity to commit murder. The criminal element of society therefore is effected by genetics, and if this can be harnessed, genetics can be used to reduce crime in the world and help advance and improve humankind".

5.0 out of 5 stars A True Work of Genius, July 16, 2003

This review is from: Born Evil or Born Genius: The Leading Cause of Crime & Turmoil in Today's World (Hardcover)
Brilliantly Written! This modern day masterpiece dares to go examine issues which many would consider politically incorrect. This is most controversial book since The Bell Curve. Well-researched and enjoyable to read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Evil & Genius are independent!, April 29, 2010
This review is from: Born Evil or Born Genius: The Leading Cause of Crime & Turmoil in Today's World (Hardcover)
I totally agree that genius and evil are inherited and applaud the author for having the guts to make the case.
So many people like, need, and want to think they have some control over both evil (to reduce it) and genius (to create it). They are wrong! They can't reduce Evil or create Genius!
There is one "however", however, . . . I believe that Evil & Genius are independent! People can be born BOTH "Evil AND Genius". And those people are EXTREMELY dangerous!
I think EVIL trumps! If someone is born Evil . . I could care less about their Genius IQ. They must be stopped! I also think that it is THE VICTIMS that need "rehabilitation" after a crime, not the CRIMINALS. The CRIMINALS need to be separated from society (i.e., other potential victims)
