This is a beautiful, very satisfying read about 3 sisters who find each other as well as finding true love. I love that when you finish one book, you get to know how the lives of its characters are progressing in the next book, as we all know the disappointment one feels when a book ends and you lose touch with the wonderful characters in it! My favorite is Born in Ice, and I have already wrote a seperate review on that book alone. However all three books complete each other and buying them together as a set is definately worth the money. Every single character in all 3 books is drawn out so beautifully that it comes to life and you almost feel like you know these people and care for them. The Irish countryside is describe so thoroughly you can almost see it. I want to visit Ireland BECAUSE of this trilogy! It i a work of art and should not be missed!

i cannot even begin to express the emotions that i experienced when reading nora roberts's three part tale of three extraordinary sisters. i was captivated by the sisters's personal turmoil and absolutely in love with the three drop dead gorgeous men in their lives. i was mesmorized by the beautifully detailed images of ireland that nora roberts presented in the book. i recommend this book to anyone looking for exceptional reading.

I would recommend the Born in series of Nora Roberts. All three stories are excellent. The Concannon girls are wonderful, as are the men they become involved with. All very strong people. I loved the Irish setting. I also enjoyed the fact that i could carry the story on from the first book to the last. These stories are a bit different in that not all the situations are happy but that makes it all the more interesting. Please give these a try you won't regret it.

I am an avid reader of Nora Roberts - I own all her books. I don't usually re-read books - but I made an exception with this one - This trilogy is Absolutely incredible! My favorite of the 3 is actually the last one "Born in Shame" (I have lost count of how many times I have read it) with the second being "Born in Ice". When I finished this trilogy I felt like I wished the Concannon's were my neighbors. My only hope is that Nora will come up with some ideas to re-visit this family in a new book - I will be 1st in line to buy it! I originally bought these books individually, before they came out in one novel. I would recommend purchasing the Novel to anyone who wants a page turner!

The vivid imagery of the beautiful Ireland is one of the top reasons to buy this book. Roberts weaves a intricate, powerful story of 3 sisters, who find love, but must overcome the obstacles in their heart. I fell in love with the books, and I hope you do too.

If I were to recommend one Nora Roberts trilogy, this would be the one. The writer's love of her own roots in Ireland, and her own romance with the people of the "Emerald Isle", transcends the written page. Not only is her creativity and writing ability at its best in this series, but so is her heart. For readers new to Nora Roberts, this triology is a must read!

I read this series when I was about 14 and before that I had only read occasionaly. Since then (I am now 21) I have become an advid reader. I have read several of Nora Roberts series but none will be as close to my heart as this one. Thank you Nora Roberts for writing these books!!!

This trilogy contains one of my favorite Nora Robert's books - Born in Fire. I believe Maggie Concannon is one of Nora Robert's greatest characters. She is portrayed beautifully in the book and by seeing the entire trilogy together you get to see her development. I didn't enjoy Born in Shame as much as I did the other two novels. It didn't pull me in as the other two novels did. It is still a good story, but the other two I feel are stronger. The entire trilogy is a really good read though. Be prepared for a long read, you probably won't be able to put it down!

This book is beyond words. The setting lured me in and kept me. The characters are amazing and the description of Ireland makes me want to make a trip of my own.

The story of the Concannnon sisters is beautiful. It pulls you in from the beginning and makes you feel like you're part of the story. I could visualize everything in this book. I became so enthralled by the story and the setting that I am in the middle of planning a vacation to County Clare, Ireland. Thank you for this inspiring tale.
