Lots of electronic work on this one, August 14, 2005

This is a hard CD to review, mainly because a good portion of the CD is electronic. Most of these Silva America CDs are orchestral with a couple electronic tracks. Not the case on this one. As for as orchestral work, the CIty of prague performs music from Born On The Fourth of July, Far and Away and the Outsiders. The performances are adequate. In addition, there is a track from the OST of Legend which is in Silva Screen's catalogue. The rest are electronic tracks performed by Mark Ayres ranging from Zimmer to Jarre to Faltermeyer. In additon, Mr. Ayres performs instrumental versions of "Take My Breath Away" from Top Gun and "Book of Days" from Far and Away.
Not as good as some of the other silva-actor compilations but this is still a good CD an shows off Mark Ayres skills, though you have to enjoy electronic music to enjoy this CD.
