5.0 out of 5 stars Courage in continuing adversity, December 16, 2008
This review is from: Born On Friday The 13th (Paperback)
If you have ever thought that the world has dealt you a bad hand, you need to read this account of a very courageous lady who overcame major tragedies in her life not once, not twice, but many times.

In a pleasantly modest style, Anna tells us of her youth in Africa and as an exptariate Brit in France and then in the USA. Horses, cooking and children filled her life and brought her into contact with some very interesting characters.

A must for those about to give up !

5.0 out of 5 stars thank you anna, March 21, 2009
This review is from: Born On Friday The 13th (Paperback)

A truly courageous ,innovative and resourceful woman. After the many knocks that Anna has taken throughout her life, "she just picks herself up, brushes herself down and starts all over again".
This book is written from the heart-what you read is how it was-no secrets with Anna.
Her story is a lesson for us all. Thank you Anna for sharing it with us.
