The Last of the Full Grown Men Proves That He Was Born To Be Wilder!!,

This is a great live show recorded in August 2005. It captures the energy of a Webb Wilder and the Beatnecks show.
Webb and the Beatnecks sound great. The lineup on this CD is Webb on vocals and leading the triple guitar assault with Tony Bowles and George "The Tone Chaperone" Bradfute, Tom Comet on bass and Jimmy Lester on drums. I am a big fan of the man and the band and I must say it is one of my favorite CDs. Don't just take my word for it. This is what the press has to say about Webb and the Beatnecks: If bands were cigarette brands, Webb Wilder and the Beatnecks would be Lucky Strikes. Unhyped, unfiltered, and probably dangerous in large doses. - Macon Telegraph "If Webb Wilder and his band are passing within 300 miles of your town, don't miss them!" - Vintage Guitar Magazine "Wilder is one of America's most interesting characters, with a credo to call his own, raw talent, charismatic personality and rabid cult following." - Country Standard Time "Webb Wilder might be lacking in a few things - such as massive record sales and mainstream notoriety - but confidence is not one of them. What a treat this new LIVE CD
from Webb Wilder is! It's better than the sparcely attended LIVE DVD performance from Birmingham back in 2005. Keep Toughing It Out, Webb! Pure Entertainment,

If you ever get a chance to see Webb, go out and catch him if you can. One of the most entertaining and talented acts out there. Witty, comical, honky Tonk'in, Rock 'n Roll'in and at times, yes sensitive. Live Big, Rock Hard and don't forget the glasses.

I had never even heard of this guy but he can flat out play...and a great band. Perfect for a long drive. Just don't speed with the songs.
