OK, I know not everyone likes the same things, but I'm having to suspend disbelief at the other reviews, which overall don't rate this song as anything special. What I hear, however, is just about the catchiest tune I've ever heard, along with lyrics that take a well-deserved swipe at a certain right-wing political party. I am having trouble imagining that I am going to hear a better song this year.

This is my first encounter with Firewater and I downloaded the song just because it was being offered for free - but what a great song.

After listening to samples of other songs from the same CD, I bought the full album and I'm loving it.

I was so pleased when I got this song burned to a cd and popped it into my cd player at home. I was bumming around, cleaning house, and this song came on. It had me jumping and dancing around like a 6 year old... it was so much fun. As soon as it ended I played it again. I hadn't had that much fun by myself in a long time. Download this now while it's free... and even if its not!!! It is worth it!

I wasn't familiar with this group, but the song is kinda catchy. It almost felt like it could have been from the soundtrack of a 30's jungle movie. Borneo reminds me of something Gogol Bordello might do.

This is my first exposure to Firewater, and it's a catchy tune. I'll keep an ear out for more from this group.

Firewater is a terrifically talented band that I've had the pleasure of seeing live, all of their five albums are great. If you like Borneo please buy some of their other stuff!!!

I came here to download 'Borneo' after reading about them in the latest Bloodshot Records newsletter, only to find it was being offered for free by Amazon. How cool is that?! Where I agree with the previous reviewer that there's "nothing really new here," you can say that about the vast majority of music nowadays. Regardless, I still feel that this is a very solid and exciting song. The beat is severely contagious and the chorus reminds me just a little bit of Adam and the Ants (and I love them too). - Babble and Beat

If you've never had the pleasure of a Firewater album before...by all means get it. REALLY...every one I force this music on (ahem) loves it. really LOVES it. Some of the Best Music you've never heard!

First time I've heard of Firewater, but I guess my girlfriend has a bunch of their albums, I might have to raid them.

This band must have grown up on New York Dolls, or Buster Poindexter music. Nothing really new here, but then, what is?
