Great Folk From a Mesmerizing Voice,
By
This review is from: Borrowed Moments (Audio CD)
There's something about Bob Fox's husky voice that envelopes me...it exudes both intimacy and warmth. I would have given this 5 stars but for the fact that I think his 2006 cd, The Blast is on whole better. There are many great contemporary songwriters covered here, Jez Lowe, Ewan MacColl and Vin Garbutt to name some. The delightfully naugty The Whitby Tailor is a standout.
