drills 1/4 inch holes like a champ all day long. 1/2 inch holes drain the juice fast. wouldn't try bigger.

all in all the best cordless roto I've ever used for overall power/battery life ratio. as in more power and longer battery life than any dewalt or hilti I've ever used.

We have one of these hammers at work, and it even outruns the corded rotary hammers we use. It drills through our high-strength bridge concrete like it was sand and will run a 2" core bit through tough carbon fiber and epoxy and run right into the high grade concrete as if to say "what else ya got?"
The battery is phenomenal. Even under the considerable stress we give it it lasts longer than any battery pack I've ever seen and continues produces unreal power until it is completely drained. I've yet to see a single weakness in the tool; it's so good it has altered the way we run some of our tests and is used for things we thought were impossible without SDS Max. If you're in the market for a rotary hammer and have the budget for this tool, look no more.

I have been in construction as a Union Pipefitter for 23yrs. Most of our piping is hung from expansion shields in concrete from above. I have used the Bosch 110v cord drills for many years without any problems except dragging 100ft. extension cords either up ladders or tied onto scissor and bucket lifts. The less volt battery drills have a slight problem getting through metal decking under the concrete,and battery charge does not last long. This 36 volt cordless was the answer to it all. I have used this every day for a week with one battery, before I needed to change it. Like other Bosch hammer drills, it is smooth, quick, and rugged. The only thing that I could slightly complain about is the overall weight of the drill and battery together when drilling above your head. However, with the equal power of the 110v and not dragging extension cords around through the tightest of places, I am getting used to the extra weight real quick. Great drill!

Great drill, I'm a contractor and own several battery operated drills and other tools! Took a couple of charging cycles to reach it's full potential but after that it has preformed flawlessly. For a battery operated hammer drill the power is awesome! Batteries charge fast and last for hours of heavy work and the case holds all the bits. I can't find anything wrong with this drill, it is a winner!

Drill is great, use it for placing rock climbing bolts, have used several other drills but there is no comparison, this totally outclasses them all. Drills 10 x 3 inch deep holes with a 1/2 inch bit into solid rock on a single battery.

This rotary hammer eats through concrete and block walls as if they were made out of soft butter. I had used for many years a corded rotary hammer. Since I have this Bosch monster, my corded hammer is rotting away in the tool shed.

Skeptical at first, had a huge warehouse security partition to assemble, and needed couple hundred 5/16" holes drilled for anchoring posts into floor. This thing almost did it in one charge, wow! A few little annoyances but nothing serious if you get a good deal on it. I would give it five stars if the battery charger were a little less bulky, and the case was sturdier and not such a pain to close at times.

I've bought it together with bosch 36v hammer drill - to have interchangeable batteries. And it works. 110% satisfied.
Before was using DeWalt 18v hammer drill + corded bosch rotary hammer for hard walls.
now i'm doing my job (satellite installs) a way faster.
