This review is out of step with the "one review per customer/item".A few days ago I commented on Bosch 15716 Oxygen sensor, at that time I had purchased two, 15716 and 15717. My mechanic installed both sensors an questioned why I did not buy two of each so both sides could be changed? I was not told to get four! I had another set sent next day delivery and they were put in . In addition to the $40.plus saving over parts stores prices I can also now say the vehical runs smoother and is more responsive. SUMMARY:as previously indicated I saved money, received super service from Amazon.com, and now can say with authority that the four Bosch oxygen sensors improved the operation of the vehical.

I bought two of these O2 (HEGO, oxygen) sensors for my 1994 Crown Vic. I had previously mage the mistake of buying the "universal type". That may have been OK with a single or maybe even a two-wire unit but I will NEVER do it with a three or four-wire sensor again. Since the wires have different guages and colors from the stock wiring, it is very difficult to get lucky enough to get them to work correctly. I even was persistant enough to finally find the wiring chart for both the universal sensor (Delphi) and the Ford stock colors. I matched them up and they still did not work right. Once I bought these Bosch units, I plugged them in and sent the car down to get smogged. Even with 267,xxx miles on the engine, it passed with flying colors! I know that phrase it used a lot but check this out: one reading allowed 1%. Measured was .01%. Another was allowed 2% and it read .02%. The HC (hydrocarbons) allowed like 551 PPM and my car had like 42 PPM. These were much better than what I did a year and a half earlier with some 30,000 miles LESS on the car! The only recommendation I would make would be to maybe step up to the next longer wire length. When the factory puts these in they have plenty of room. With pulling the engine, space can be very limited so having a longer wire length would certainly help.

Find yourself an honest mechanic before deciding its the O2 sensor. I had the OBD II reader tell me it was P0156 and I ordered the O2 sensor thinking I would just have it changed. Turns out it was just a fuse. The sensor itself works fine (with my 1996 Ford Taurus)

I needed O2 sensors for my Ford Truck and after much research figured out that Bosch made the sensors for Ford. So, I looked for price. These sensors are original equipment and about half the price of others and/or Motorcraft. The company gave great service and I had them in 2 days. I would recommend both this sensor and this company.

At 102K miles, my '95 Explorer XLT needed to have the two Oxy Sensors replaced. Found this OE replacement on Amazon for a substantial savings even with the NY tax added (free shipping helped). Items arrived on time, intact and as advertised. It was my first time replacing these but I'm happy to say the old ones came off relatively easy. Just a little extra elbow grease and they both came off. Disconnecting the connector was a bit challenging for the driver side sensor. It was located higher up, but I was able to pull it down enough to get at it. The passenger side sensor had to be accessed through the passenger side wheel well. Once the sensors were off, installation was easier. On the new sensors, Bosch already prepped the threads with anti-seize. Happy with the purchase and the buying experience. Now my Explorer is also happy and running a lot smoother.

My engine light was on. Found out that it was my O2 sensors. I purchased the exact same one from Amazon that the auto store was selling and I saved $15 on each one that I bought at Amazon. Thank you Amazon!

Bosch product is great and was the perfect fix for performance issues with my vehicle.Shipping Note: Amazon ships from the upper West so it takes a week+ for the part to arrive in the east. Most auto parts companies ship from mutiple sites and parts arrive within 48 hours.

Bought this for 1990 F150. The wiring was longer than needed and it comes with some zip ties to tie up the extra. A good choice for a semi universal O2 sensor.
