As a furniture and cabinet maker, I have had the oportunity to use a variety of cordless drills, with the majority in our shop being of the yellow variety, to save from naming names. The Bosch drill out-lasts and out-performs any others I have used. This 12 volt model delivers more power than the other guys' 12 volts, and continues to do so over time. I've had to replace both batteries on a 2 year old yellow drill, while the Bosch is still going strong on it's original batteries. I think this is pretty good considering it became my go to drill for all situations and got much more use than any others. I highly reccomend this drill to anyone looking for a light weight, high performance tool.

I am a remodeling contractor and use cordless drills all day. I have used all varieties and owned most. Without exception my Bosch's (I now have four) have outperformed and most importantly outlasted the rest. I bought my first 12volt four years ago, and it is still going strong. Comfortable and well balanced, excellent keyless chuck, and batteries that go for ever. I would highly recommend one to anyone needing a professional grade tool. Just hold it next to those yellow paper weights, the difference is visible.

After around 10 years of rough use, I was ready to find a new drill to replace my Makita 9.6v cordless. I wanted something with more power but did not have a "wagon load" of batteries. I chose this Bosch 12v model because of the good reviews and had heard about the Bosch quality. The specs indicated it had excellent torque for the power. Let me tell you the reviews are correct and after six months of use this drill is fantastic. I have dropped numerous times from a ladder (onto concrete) and it always amazes me that it still works perfect. The power is superb. I can drive 4" screws into deck no problem. The batteries last a very long time. Why do you need a 18v monster when this 12v has plenty of power? I still haven't figured that one out yet. The grip is comfortable. Recharge is pretty quick. Comes with two batteries. The drill sounds and performs very precision. Everything seems right-on with no slop in the gears or drive. I love this drill! I recommend to anyone.

I've used/owned many, many drills, corded and cordless, and this drill blows them all away. Got it for free (!) for a test drive, and my God, what a drill. I could spend paragraph after paragraph extolling the virtues of this product. Suffice it to say, I'll trust Bosch for all my corless power tool needs. Three years old and still outperforms any tool I own.
