Perfect Machine - 3-in-One!, September 15, 2007
I was looking for an electric whisk, and also a strong blender to crush ice for smoothies. This machine has both of these features and more! I had also wanted to purchase a food processor, but didn't want too many kitchen accessories for a small kitchen!
The Bosch Compact Kitchen Machine with Blender (Item model number: MUM4620UC) is perfect!
It has a large mixing bowl (4 quarts) with a splash proof cover, and comes with a dough hook, beating and stirring hook. The six-cup blender crushes ice easily! The food processor slices and shreds vegetables well! All the attachments are easy to attach and take off. The accessories store in a little holder for the discs and hooks.
For a compact maching, this is a mighty powerful machine which has multiple uses! I simply love it!

a little different mixer, June 4, 2007
This is a good heavy duty mixer with lots of attachments that doesn't take up too much counter space and has a wonderful spill-cover. the mixing action is a little different, so you have to make sure your dry ingredents are moisened before you snap the mixing bowl in place, but this little thing is a dynamo. It's the same price as other heavy-duty mixers, but is a better fit for a small kitchen.

Yes, small counter space. Yes, good blender, shredder and mixer.
Did anyone used it for mixing dough ? it bends and curls on the counter .. like someone would ride a bike with wheels made of plastic. Not enough power, not enough strength in the parts. NOT for making bread dough - that is an overstated use. Probably good for mixing stuff for cakes.
And my previous mixer the knife blades were close to the bottom of the bowl - which would allow to mash any vegetable. The bowl has a round bottom perfect for mixing fluids, but not for mashing them.
With that being said - excellent shredder and blender.
