Up-Front Controls Keep You in Command
With its up-front, easy-to-reach bevel-angle controls, the 4410L lets you make adjustments efficiently without having to reach around to the back of the saw. And with the saw's innovative, four-position handle, you'll experience ergonomic comfort for even more effective performance.
Innovative Features Offer Superior Precision
You can count on the 4410L to get the job done with a superior level of precision, thanks to its innovative Microfine Miter Adjustment Knob. In combination with the miter detent override, this feature lets you fine-tune your miter angle outside of detents to the perfect setting and lock it in for unparalleled accuracy. The saw also features an arbor-mounted laser tracking system, which provides sharply accurate laser lines for precise cutting.
Built for Long-Lasting Consistency
Bosch's exclusive Wedge-and-Slot Miter Detent System is cast into the base to enable consistent and precise miter cuts throughout the long life of the saw. The 4410L offers 11 miter detents, bevels 47 degrees to the left and 46 degrees to the right, bevel stops at 0, 33.9, and 45 degrees (left and right), and convenient crown molding stops at 31.6 degrees when stock is laying flat.
The Bosch 4410L Sliding Miter Saw measures 19 inches tall and 37-1/4 inches long, has a 5/8-inch arbor, and weighs in at a sturdy 55 pounds. It is backed by Bosch's one-year limited warranty, 30-day money back guarantee, and one-year service protection plan.

This review is from: Bosch 4410L 15-Amp 10-Inch Dual Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw (Tools & Home Improvement)
I consider myself to be an intermediate woodworker. Using various joints including dovetails, mitres, and other multifaced joints in my work. I bought the 4410l to do a house full of baseboard and some crown moulding and am very pleased with the performance of this saw. Right out of the box, which arrived in only 4 days, the saw produced machinist square cuts and absolutely "light tight" crown cuts. ALL angles came dead accurate from the factory. The laser is just a wow factor and the dust collection isn't the greatest but the cuts this slider makes are a thing of beauty and ease, even with the supplied blade. I honestly don't understand the negative reviews about accuracy with this unit. I have the 10" Bosch contractors saw and its performance was what led me to this sliding mitre saw, Bosch was up to the task again. Fit,finish, upfront controls, the micro fine adjustment was wonerful on the crown cuts,...all great. This is good saw and I recommend it highly.

Reading all these five star reviews makes me jealous. I'm a professional carpenter and there's a lot I love about this saw: the upfront controls, the table extensions that are perfecly in plane with the table, the tall sliding fences, the smooth, quiet motor... I'll never be totally happy with a saw that doesn't have those features. But I'm sure not happy with mine. It has the dreaded wavy cut syndrome. It's not caused by sloppy sliders as some reviewers have speculated. The problem is when the plane of the blade is not perfecly in line with the direction of the slide. Everything on the saw can be adjusted except that. If you get one do some test cuts on some wide stock right away. Chop it close in, then fully extended. Do you see a sawtooth in your cut? When you slide cut do you get any burn marks on the sides of the cut or a wavy cut? I did, and I took mine to a factory service center. They said the put a lot of new parts in it and checked it out but guess what. It still won't cut right. If you get a good one you'll love it, if you don't, send it back!

This review is from: Bosch 4410L 15-Amp 10-Inch Dual Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw (Tools & Home Improvement)
i was dissapointed to read the negative reviews by others regarding this great tool. i am replacing a makita ls 1013 saw with this one, i have been using the makita brutally for about five years (finish work, cabinets, framing) - it has been great but i was never satisfied with how difficult it was to square the fence to the blade - the adjustment always needed to re re-adjusted; the dual slides became very dirty and difficult to operate and the miter pivot got clogged a lot.
i am impressed with the quality of features and the thoughtfulness of the levers, guages, etc. on the bosch 4410. i really like the way the motor is placed up behind the blade, keeping it out of the way. the saw has tons of power - scary power really. i had heard that there was a lot of plastic on the bosch saws - not so. there is of course some - but most everything is quality machined aluminum - very nice. most of the knobs and pins are coated with a plastic or rubber. all the controls are up front and very intuitive. i really like the operational instructions on a sticker on the saw - very easy to follow. the fact that the two extension wings slide out from the base of the saw is really nice - i was always hunting for those bar supports on the makita. the saw came securely boxed wrapped in a durable plastic sheet. cut perfectly the first time. i love the high level of visability to either side of the blade and the pivoting top handle is a nice addition. in short, i could not be more pleased with the quality, function, accuracy and finish of this saw. i tested the squareness of the blade - it was dead on right out of the box. I love the micro adjust feature as well - beats a hammer and a block of wood. the folks at bosch have really produced a quality machine that i am sure will last for years to come. if i could give it six stars i would. again, dont be swayed by the negative reviews - i am not sure where that came from...
