Product Description

Bosch state-of-the-art turbine fuel pumps offer many advantages when compared to older roller-cell and inner-gear pump designs. Not only do these pumps offer near silent operation and improved drivability, the core components of this turbine design significantly reduce wear and deliver a longer service life. That's an important consideration when choosing a replacement fuel pump. You can install Bosch Turbine Fuel Pumps with complete confidence. They're nearly identical in dimension and appearance to the units they replace for a precise fit every time. The Bosch #69128 is an In-Tank, 12-volt, Impeller-type Electric Fuel Pump that is both super-quiet and powerful, too. The box is marked "Assembled in U.S.A."
The Package contains:

1. (1) #69128 Pump.
2. (1) 6 1/4"X 5/16ths I.D. Fuel Line Hose.
3. (2) Hose Clamps.
4. (1) 2-wire Connector.
5. (5) Assorted O-Ring Gaskets.
6. (2) Rubber Pump Insulators.

BOSCH Pump WARRANTY requires that a NEW Filter Screen MUST be installed at time of pump installation. There is NO FILTER SCREEN INCLUDED -- IT MUST BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY !! This pump accepts BOSCH #68015 Filter Screen, which fits the new pump perfectly. Filter Screen box is marked "Made in U.S.A."; also available at Amazon. I ordered the Pump and Screen together to save time and hassle, and to insure a perfect fit. It worked !!

The BOSCH #69128 is an upgrade for many Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury sedans.

What's the big deal with the BOSCH fuel pump ?? Well, besides the excellent quality of materials and workmanship, there's the fact that the design of the Bosch Impeller Pump eliminates the last of the common fuel-delivery problems - PULSATION !! The pulsation put out by piston-type electric fuel pumps causes premature fuel-pressure-regulator failure and/or injector problems -- either of which is an expensive P.I.A.
The Bosch Impeller Type Pump #69128 completely eliminates pulsation for the smoothest fuel delivery available, with the volume and the pressure to back it up !!
It's worth checking to see if this pump fits your vehicle, because this pump is an upgrade for the majority of in-tank electric fuel pumps from many foreign and domestic manufacturers.

This is exactly what I needed, a great pump, exact fit, German made, great price, even comes with the sock. Good fit in 97 Explorer, no hassles just be prepared to solder & shrink wrap if you have the wide terminals. But the pump comes with the plug so you are good to go.

My truck wouldn't start but was in my garage. I faced a choice between a tow and repair or to try to get it done with a friend and my dad. Well we just installed this in my 2001 Ford Explorer 5.0L yesterday. The pump fit exactly into the sender unit with the exception of the electrical connection. Had to cut the wires and splice in the included connector. Thought this was an exact fit, so minus 1 star. As I'm not a mechanic and infrequently work on cars so the job took about 8 hours. The installation of the fuel pump was simple and fast. Getting off 14 year old rusted bolts to drop the tank was painful and time consuming. I would do it again. If you do it, get a breaker bar and a 4 foot long pipe to torque those bolts off! Also you may need a special tool to disconnect the fuel line. Get dirty and good luck!

2001 F150 5.4L supercrew. Pump finally died after intermittant starting issues. Removed bed 6 bolts, still had to drop tank on a crew cab, but made it so much easier with bed off, plus did some rust restoration. Ok, pump was a direct fit, plus wire connection plugged right in to stock adapter, had to adjust wire length a bit, wire tie them. Moment of truth, reinstalled, put tank back, all connections, turned key to ON to prime pump, read fuel press gauge, 0 psi, primed again, pressure started to rise, of course, line was empty after changing filter too, 3 primes and she roared to life. Pump is quiet, with ear on tank sounds smooth. Holding pressure now after a few hours shut off. Attach a gauge to fuel rail only way to really know. Oh and test u have 12v at the tank too. Good luck

This fit my "FIF" (Found In Field) '98 F150 Stepside.

Truck sat for 6 or 7 years so the fuel pump seized up. Drained the fuel tank, purged the injector rails and it started right up (and changed the oil). Been running about 2 years now.
I don't remember if it came with a spare flat fuel strainer so be aware you may want to look for one in case it doesn't. It fits on the bottom of the intake of the pump to keep the bigger foreign matter out of the pump.

My truck original pump had a strange looking plastic enclosure with filter connected to the bottom. The Bosh pump is more or less the same size so I could put it in but not as original. Modified the enclosure alittle, soldered some wires, cut metal pipe, not very happy but it work good. One star is removed for not including a filter.
