This is a great set of tools so far. The drill is strong, smooth, and very quiet. The reciprocating saw is pretty smooth and the trigger allows good speed control. I used the circular saw this weekend to break down 3/4 inch plywood. The Bosch cuts quickly and cleanly without bogging down, even when the plywood is warped and bowed. 2x4 lumber was no match either, and the saw performed flawlessly with the stock blade. Battery life was excellent. I had not charged the batteries since the day I bought the kit about two months ago and I cut a total of twenty feet of 3/4 inch ply, and made about twenty five cuts on 4 inch PVC pipe on one two month old battery charge. I was impressed. This kit is worth the money, even if you have to pay full price. I can't wait to try the new impact driver to compare it to my Makita 18v lithium.

My husband is a self-employed carpenter. He oftened mentioned seeing these Bosch tools in hardware and 'super stores', and lamenting the fact that he couldn't afford them. These tools are now in daily use at his job sites. Not only are they durable and dependable, they have made his job a lot easier. I would recommend Bosch cordless tools to anyone who needs dependable tools that stand up to heavy use in harsh environments. Well worth the price! (To a guy this was like getting the long awaited diamond...)

My drill/driver out of this set lasted less than 11 months. Problems started with the "free" battery program that failed to materialize. This occurred twice for me on different pieces of equipment. So, gave up with Bosch trying to get my "free" batteries, when issues started with one of my drill/drivers. Bosch has yet to contact me after several attempts on my part to warranty this drill. I use my Bosch equipment professionally but also expect it to perform better than most, as it is priced higher than most. I was a Bosch only purchaser, but with the poor performance in the service department combined with equipment failure, my loyalty is wavering. It is sad for me to give this review, but old Bosch tools can outlast these new ones.

I was pleasantly surprised with this tool set. The tools are quality tools which means they have some heft & weight to them. But that also means they can stand the use from framing carpentry down to home projects and repairs. I could have gotten by with a cheaper set but, then, it would have been both less expensive and 'cheap'. I was most interested in the circular saw - it's already cut up several plywood sheets, 2x4, 2x6, and with a separately purchased 80-tooth blade, some very nice woods. Don't forget there is a heavy-duty bag that comes with the set - perfect for moving these tools + others around.

Very good tool set. Tools feel comfortable to use. Even the flashlight is decent as the handle rotates for multiple light angles. Haven't used reciprocating saw or hammer drill in a working environment yet, but have plans in the near future. Batteries are great, charge quickly and long lasting. Will be able make a better decision later on if it was worth the price in regards to tool life, battery life, working environments, etc..., after using it for a year or two, but couldn't be happier with the purchase at this time. Would recommend for anyone and any craftsman skill level.

A sweet set that has alot of power for cordless tools. I get alot of use out of each of the 4. If interested, buy it!

I got this set about two years ago and it still works like new, I am an electrician and use it daily and never had one problem, batteries even still hold a perfect charge no problem. The drill has been dropped on concrete, mud and water no problem. Used for drilling through concrete, steel, and wood and works like a corded drill. The only problem is it's heavy so not very good with light work so I got a small 12 volt drill for that. The Reciprocating Saw works great with a boat load of power but changing blades are a pain. The Circular Saw works great and cuts wood perfectly because I mostly do commercial work I have not used it much but I still using the blade that came with it no problem with 2x4's. The light is bright and can illuminate dark rooms well used it a lot and never changed the bulb. Charger works fast and even helps cool down hot batteries that just got a heavy use. And comes in a bag that perfectly holds the whole set and any extra blades or bits needed for the job. I don't know about the ProVantage Guarantee yet but I read good things about it. If you have the money and need a powerful set that holds up to heavy use and abuse then this is it best power tools I have ever bought.
