this sawzall will rip a 8' trimmer in place w/d fat pack. amazing tools, you would think they were plugged into 110v

Think twice...
I purchased this set 6 months ago. Supposedly a rugged, heavy-duty set. In this time both the reciprocating saw as well as the hammer drill have failed and are inoperable. The reciprocating saw failed not by cutting lumber with nails in it, but rather juniper branches at best an inch thick. A few nights ago, while installing my door threshold (or attempting...

I purchased this set 6 months ago. Supposedly a rugged, heavy-duty set.
In this time both the reciprocating saw as well as the hammer drill have failed and are inoperable. The reciprocating saw failed not by cutting lumber with nails in it, but rather juniper branches at best an inch thick. A few nights ago, while installing my door threshold (or attempting to), my hammer drill failed while trying to drill into concrete with a 5/32" Tapcon bit! All I can say is I am thankful for my friend letting me borrow his Milwaukee drill so I could get the job done. I emailed Bosch customer service several days ago and have heard absolutely nothing. Don't waste your time on this set - Get the 28V Milwaukee set if you intend on shelling out this kind of money.

Pro and Cons on Bosch 36 volt 4-tool Combo Kit,

On the plus side the 36 volt Bosch tools are much more powerful than my previous 24 volt Bosch tools. The Litheon batteries are much better than the 24 volt NiCads. The only minus side is the heavier weight of these tools, but overall when doing a tough job these 36 volt tools will pay for themselves in no time.
