The item description is incorrect (this obviously doesn't have a clutch. Where would it be?), but with just a little finesse, I didn't have any problems with the drywall paper tearing. In fact, this produced a nicely dimpled result and prevented those unwanted, over-driven screws. While I wouldn't want to use this for a whole house, it works great for the random small room or repair job.

Used this to put up one wall of drywall and now I have to sand down the rough cuts in the paper this bit leaves behind. There is no clutch as described. What actually happens is that the steel ring cuts into the drywall and causes the bit to grind on top of the screw. Now you have a messed up screw head and a big hunk of paper hanging on the wall. The rest of the room I just used a standard bit to finish up. If I had a lot of work left to do I would buy a bit with a spring clutch or a drywall screw gun.
