There's really not too much to say about Bosch bits that hasn't been mentioned already. They perform as they should, and last a good, long time. I purchased this set with my Bosch Bulldog rotary hammer, and have used them a number of times drilling into old, poured concrete floor slabs, and into newer poured concrete walls. In all cases, they have quickly and efficiently performed their task, then returned to looking like new with a quick wipe-down with a rag, and a spray of light oil to protect them during storage.

These bits are quite short, the length of the SDS spline can be slightly deceptive if you are not familiar with roto-hammer bits, but they are more than sufficient for setting wall anchors for shelving and soforth where stiffness will benefit you more than reach. I would suggest that anyone buying a rotohammer should pick up this bit set along with it, for the price it will give you a lot of versatility and will last a long time. It's not the be-all end-all of bit sets, but for the price it is very good. Even comes in a nice, slide-top case to keep all the bits sorted out from the rest of the junk in the bottom of the tool box. When I finally manage to wear mine out (haven't even made a significant start on that yet) I'll definitely be buying another set, just to keep in the case with the tool so I've always got a bit on hand.

i bought this set some time back and it is a quality set of SDS bits and the price is right. i don't use SDS every day, but do use them a good bit and they haven't dulled and believe it or not, i have not lost one yet. good deal.

What is there to say about these?.. If you put them in a Bosch "Bulldog" rotary hammer, they go through concrete like a hot knife through butter. Unless you are a using these professionally, it seems unlikely that you would ever wear them out. I can't detect any wear on the carbide tips on any of mine with the exception of some minor wear on a larger one (not part of this set) that has about 100 6" deep holes on it.

I bought these to use with a Bosch Rotary Hammer that I purchased. Hammer uses the SDS Max bits, so I also purchased the SDS Plus adapter to use these bits. They work great and (using my heavy duty rotary hammer) will go into a concrete wall like butter. Definitely worth the money.

These bits are great. They drill and drill and keep on going for a long time. They are great quality as advertised.

I made about 11 4-6 inch holes in concrete with the Bosch 1/2 inch bit using a recently purchased Black & Decker DR670 6.0-Amp 1/2-Inch Hammer Drill. All went smoothly. I have used hammer drills in the past with cheap bits, and this seemed easier. However, I'm no expert. No concerns to report. I like the case that the bits came in. It is reusable and clear for easy tool recognition.

I could have gone to a box store and bought just the 1/2 inch bit. However, I thought I might as well have the other bits available for future projects. The price may be high; I didn't do any comparison shopping. I did not want to make a trip to the store for a simple bit (I also ordered the drill at the same time).

Just used one of these bits today to drill a hole in my basement floor for a 4" radon mitigation pipe. Actually, I probably drilled 200 holes, when all was said and done. I couldn't get the dang concrete plug to come out, so toward the end, I just ran the hammer drill constantly for about 5 minutes and figured I'd just drill random holes until the bit melted. It didn't. It just kept on going. Still drills pretty much as it did on the first hole.

I don't know how these compare to other brands of hammer drill bits -- perhaps they come sandalwood scented or sing songs to you while you drill -- but these sure drill the crud out of concrete.
