The best deal in around on these diamond bits. Fast shipping on a superior drilling product. A must have for all plumbers.

This little 1/4 diamond hole saw is amazing. I use it to drill holes in very hard porcelain tiles, and it is like drilling through mild steel with a super sharp drill bit. Just make sure you keep the tip wet so it does not overheat.

I used it to install 4 steel pins in my bathroom floor that go into the 4 legs of my new claw foot tub. I thought it was going to be a problem to make these holes in the hard tiles, but because the hole saw cuts so nicely, it was not difficult to start and keep each hole in the correct spot.

I am very pleased with this little hole saw, as I am with several larger size Bosch diamond hole saws I bought from Amazon. The stuff is not cheap, but buying a tool that makes a hard job easy is worth every penny to me!

I used this 1/4 inch bit to drill through marble tile in bath so I could mount the support brackets for a curtain rod. Fortunately I did a trial run on a scrap piece of marble tile first. The drill bit slipped and skidded all over the tile...no amount of pressure or technique would get it to stay in place and it left circular marks all over the face of my test piece. So I used a standard concrete bit to start the hole and flake off a little of the marble surface. Then I tried the Bosch...it stayed put a drilled a perfect, smooth hole. I kept the bit wet while drilling. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the sliding around over the surface.

These things are amazing compared to the bits I was using to drill through glass before. Keep water on the area being cut and these bits will last a good bit of time before needing to be replaced. I use mine in a drill press so I can't comment on the ease of use in a hand drill but I can't imagine it would be complicated. These cut clean and cut fast.

This bit worked well on porcelain tile and lasted longer than an off brand I bought at a local home improvement store for about the same money. I drilled 8 holes with the Bosch and still have abrasive left on the bit for a few more. Note that you must spray a little water on the bit while you're drilling to keep it cool and prolong its life.
