5.0 out of 5 stars A joy in the kitchen
My husband and I both cook, and are immensely pleased with our new slide-in, dual fuel range. We have the convection and warming drawer feature. We used the warming drawer feature last night when cooking many dishes for company--it was very helpful, and even makes up for timing glitches, i.e. when one dish is finished a bit earlier than expected. 3.0 out of 5 stars Great Stove but cheap knobs detract
We have had this stove for 3 months and are on our second set of knobs. The littlest grease or hot oil from stove softens up the paint on the plastic knobs.
Ill probably try to get another set and paint them with clear poly. I have found other metal knobs (samsung electric range) that seem to fit but they cost $40 while the plastic knobs are $16.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great Stove but cheap knobs detract, June 10, 2011

Except for the cheap knobs the stove has worked great. Bosch does not admit to any defects when called and have no work around. I did have one agent mention they were looking at going to metal knobs in future so you may want to wait on your purchase until they do.

The oven functions perfectly, the range is great for all intensity flames; very low was important to me. Cleaning is easy, and the range looks beautiful in the kitchen. You may need the seller to supply a filler of about an inch to go between the wall and the stovetop, which they do have. We're grateful for buyer's ratings on all stoves, which were different than the Consumer's Report ratings, and helped us make this decision.

4.0 out of 5 stars owned for a month, March 13, 2011
This review is from: Bosch Integra 700 Series HDI7282U 30 Pro-Style Dual-Fuel Range
We are really enjoying our new range. It is very attactive and sleek looking. We had read a review elsewhere that reported a problem w the door of the oven. We have had no such problem and as a matter of fact, it is very solidly built and closes/opens very nicely. You don't feel the heat from the oven when standing in front of it like w our old one. We also really like the feature that the oven screen reads out the word 'hot' so that our children know to not open then door. The range top is a sleek black reflective surface w sealed burners and is very easy to clean. We really like that the sides of the oven top are built to sligly overlap the countertop which gives it a nice built-in look. The negative is that the cook surface top shows any fingerprint and bit of dust that may have settled there. The oven works like a dream and really bakes well and evenly. The fan is very quiet and is hardly noticeable. I have yet to use the built-in meat probe or the broiler. Overall, I am very pleased w our purchase so far. Likely will be a 5 star review at a later date, but need to try out all the bells and whistles 1st. We will update our review at a later date.

2.0 out of 5 stars glass top hard to clean, knob color washes off, October 3, 2011

This review is from: Bosch Integra 700 Series HDI7282U 30 Pro-Style Dual-Fuel Range
The glass top on this range must be cleaned pretty much daily, which requires removing the grates. The grates themselves are cast iron with a rough finish, do not clean at all and quickly get "furry." Finally, the control knobs are white plastic with a metallic finish that washes off with the most common cleaners, even without using any abrasives. Thus the mechanics seem sound but the appearance deteriorates VERY quickly. After not even two months of use, we wish we had bought a different make.

2.0 out of 5 stars Cheap Parts, November 5, 2011
This review is from: Bosch Integra 700 Series HDI7282U 30 Pro-Style Dual-Fuel Range
I really like this range, but only giving 2 stars.

The paint wore off the cheap plastic knobs after 1 month of normal use. This happened on the 2 most used knobs so it's clearly from use.

After spending $2000+ on an appliance, I would expect the entire product to be made of good quality.

I'm requesting replacement knobs, but have no confidence this problem won't keep happening.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cooks better than it looks, January 13, 2012
This review is from: Bosch Integra 700 Series HDI7282U 30 Pro-Style Dual-Fuel Range
Presumably one purchases a stove for cooking food. This Bosch has proven that it can do that well. Many delightful concoctions have come off the stove top and emerged from the oven. The low simmer setting on the stove works very well for ensuring that food does not burn. The warming drawer beneath the oven performs admirably. Although we haven't tried the "bells & whistles", the temperature probe for roasts seems destined to perform a useful task.

Some folks might also purchase a stove, based on its appearance. The glass top, beneath the burner hobs, the stout cast-iron pot support rack and the brushed stainless steel surfaces are quite attractive. What Bosch refers to as "metal finish knobs" bears little resemblance to the brushed stainless of the rest of the stove. In fact, Bosch has no other white metal finish on the stove so it's hard to figure where they got "metal finish" to describe what looks more like cheap plastic. Perhaps they figure that "metal finish" sells more stoves than "cheap plastic".

It's too bad that a $2K stove is defiled by such cheap-looking white plastic "metal finish" knobs.

'Better make a trip to RadioShack and see if some electronic component replacement knobs are available; they'd look better than Bosch's cheap plastic.

2.0 out of 5 stars The cheap plastic knobs speak for the range!, December 14, 2011
This review is from: Bosch Integra 700 Series HDI7282U 30 Pro-Style Dual-Fuel Range
After a few months of light use, the paint over the cheap plastic knobs went off! It is now standing in my kitchen with a disgusting appears. The knobs speak for itself. The knobs, which are on the face of this product, is so cheaply made, you can imagine the quality for the rest. It is funny that some people bought this range and they keep a set of new knobs for holiday use only (i.e. whenever there is a holiday, they put them on). Please don't hide this problem, show it to people so they won't make the same mistake buying this product!

3.0 out of 5 stars Samsung knobs may be upside down, December 6, 2011
This review is from: Bosch Integra 700 Series HDI7282U 30 Pro-Style Dual-Fuel Range
Commenting on "Silvereagle" review. I checked several Samsung electric and gas appliances. Each of the knobs did fit the Bosch range. Unfortunately, each was upside down. This plastic knob set on the Bosch is a disgrace.
