Bosch MS1226 Vertical Quick Clamp for 4412 4410 5412L 4410L Miter Saws

Found a vertical quick clamp for my Milwaukee sliding compound miter saw that works great and even has the same colors as the saw itself. Milwaukee does not make a clamp for its saw model 6955-20 12" saw. Bosch however makes the MS1226 vertical quick clamp that does. It works great.

I read a review that suggested this clamp would work with the Milwaukee miter saws. I purchased it from Amazon and have found it to work great with the Milwaukee 6955-20. It fits nicely in the pre-drilled holes behind either fence. I would recommend this clamp for Bosch or Milwaukee miter saws.

The best clamp I've ever used on any miter saw I've put my hands on (many). The easiest to use, solid clamping.
They are not used frequently, but because it is so quick to set-up, I use it. My old ones I tried (on other saws) and got so frustrated, I never used them. Great Saw and great clamp.

Bosch lives up to its reputation again. This is a fine, solid, clamp. I haven't used it alot yet, but the times I have, it has held the work firmly. I wish there was a hole for it closer to the blade, though, in my Milwaukee compound miter saw.

This clamp does exactly what it says. It does provide an excellent hold and it is quick to readjust. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I think it would be a little easier to use if it had a set screw on the vertical post. This clamp holds fine but without the set screw it takes a little getting used to. Over all it is an effective clamp.

The following parts do not fit on the GCM12SD Axial Glide Miter Saw:

BOSCH MS1226 Vertical Quick Clamp for 4412 4410 5412L 4410L Miter Saws
The new taller fence is too high to allow the quick clamp to work.

BOSCH MS1228 Crown Molding Stop Supports Pair for 4412 4410 5412L 4410L Miter Saws
The new design of the material support extensions do not allow mounting of this accessory.

Bosch MS1223 Length Stop Kit for 4412, 5412L
The mounting holes are closer together than the 4412/5412/5312 saws and do not allow mounting unless you drill a new hole in the accessory.

I ordered these accessories and they are all of very high quality. However, they do not fit the GCM12SD due to different mounting specifications. Hopefully Bosch is planning new accessories for the new saw.
