4.0 out of 5 stars Good blade, not so good price, December 26, 2009

These blades, like many others with these type of tools, are way overpriced, especially at amazon. I like to buy here but this is one item that should be no more than $25, even that is too much. You can find in most B&M home centers , $25 is as an everyday price. The BIM blades are the ones to buy as the bi-metal is much better at cutting over time than the HSS. The Bosch specific blades work much better, as the adapter doe not hold well and will slip over time on other blade manuf. types. Because of the price of blades, many applications are best done with other saws. I suggest you use this type of tool only when you have no other choice for cutting unless you like spending a lot of money on replacement blades.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellant blade but has short life, September 21, 2009

Useful for cutting dry wall, green board, plastic liner in showers, nails, that nasty consumer hostile hard plastic packaging, and the verry crusty French stile bread. (Not to mention wood.) I would pay 2 to 3x more for a harder version that lasted longer and would cut ceramics or glass.

Overall and excellent blade.

I've used this blade to trim length at the bottom of door frames. It works well for this and other small jobs, but is a bit pricy in my opinion.

4.0 out of 5 stars It was the only tool I could find to do the job., July 25, 2011

While installing hardwood flooring I was surprised to find the baseboards in some rooms glued on. I could not pull them without destroying the drywall beneath. I cut around the whole room to prep for the flooring. While not a quick process, it did work. I had one of these blades come with by bosch multitool and I used it to cut the baseboards and the nails holding down the tack strips from the carpet. It worked fine until I cut the nails.
