broken too soon, cannot recommend,

Bosch has this great reputation but I do not understand why. When it works it does the job it is supposed to do. The problem is that it breaks often. Within one year there were problems and they have persisted continously. Every time it has cost us money to get it fixed. We cannot recommend buying any Bosch dishwasher. Several of our friends have Bosch dishweashers too and theirs are broken as well. They do their dishes by hand now and use the dishwasher as a drying rack! I don't think Bosch has a clue on how to make a good dishwasher. They think we want all these bells and whistles, but they are wrong. We want clean dishes over and over again for years and years without failure. That is what a good dishwasher is supposed to do. Bosch is not providing that. Bosch are you listening?

Bosch will not honor warrantee,

My Bosch dishwasher is 1.5 years old. The handle broke off. The parts are still under warrantee, but Bosch will not send me the free part unless I pay a $130 service fee.
