The title of this review says it all. These blades have a separate set of teeth that cut each side of the kerf. You can actually end up with cuts that don't need sanding! These cut through everything I have tried them on like butter. They are particularly good on plywood.

I use them in my Bosch Jigsaw (see that review, also). I suppose they will fit other brands that have a bayonet mount.

If you find a smoother cutting blade, let me know!

For the last 9 months I have been searching for a suitable blade for cutting 20mm Hardwood floors, usually Oak or Merbau. I require both a clean, splinter free cut for going across the grain but also a fast cutting blade for cutting along the grain, up to lengths of 2 metres. At last I have found one! The T234X is superb. It gives almost mitre saw quality cuts across the grain and cuts at great speed along the grain. I broke five "regular" Bosch blades this morning, I only used the one progressor this afternoon and it is still going strong. This is the only blade I will buy from now on, I recommend you try it too!

In my experience, this blade makes a fine, straight, usually splinter-free cut in thick and thin solid wood. I have used it on redwood and pine in various dimensions with great results. I have not personally used it on particleboard or plywood, but if Bosch says that it will work equally well on those, I will believe it. Buy a pack and try it for yourself.

I got this blade as an extra blade when buying the Bosch T144D (which are also excellent). This blade provided smooth finishing to both the top and bottom of the wood and provided a excellent smooth and quick performance.

However I did come across one problem. Do not under any circumstance run this blade on chipboard, my uncle used this blade to cut the worktop (sink hole) and he managed to burn the blade. Looks like that the resin level in the chipboard doesn't allow this blade to cut as well as it normally does. Otherwise this blade is an excellent blade for all other types of wood that do not contain resin.

They do cut fairly clean but not so much on the scroll cuts. If you want cut something fast, however, these are an awesome deal at the clearance pricing I found them for. If Bosch labels it "clean" that's what you use when you don't want to do a lot of sanding afterwards. If it's labeled "progressor" it's for making two pieces where there was once only one ASAP.

There's a lot of positive talk about the new Xtra Clean T308B blades out there. I'll be reviewing them when my first set comes in. It's hard to find customer reviews though. People tend to stick to what they know, I suspect.

I use these blades in a Bosch 1590EVSK. This combination works well for a wide variety of projects, from precise cuts for small parts to rough carpentry for fence repairs, and even light demolition work in confined spaces (like under a sink). Other blades make somewhat cleaner cuts, but the T234X is in my saw 90% of the time.

I'm crazy about these blades, blades that perform exactly as promised. I made some cuts with my Bosch jigsaw using regular blades. Then I switched blades and made cuts in the same materials with the Progessor blades. I was awed. The cuts were easy, fast, and smooth. I even made some cuts in the wooden garden ties picked up from Home Depot. I usually cut these with my chain saw. The ties were no obstacle for my Bosch jigsaw armed with Progressor blades.
I've used these blades on plywood, planks, garden ties, and 2" PVC pipe with equal success.

These blades are very sharp the cuts that use to minutes now takes seconds always thought my saw was weak but it was the blades I was using what a cost saving I can buy a lot of blades for the price of a new saw thanks BOSCH

These blsdes are very stout and will cut a 2x4 nice and true.It could be overkill but also cut trex decking cleanly. You should have these blades in your reserve.

These blades are probably the best I've ever used. I recently purchased a Dewalt 18v jig saw from Amazon, and the Dewalt assorted set of blades to go with it. I thought they did an O.K. job - but only O.K.; and I thought they weren't up to the overall capabilities of the saw itself. Looking around I found that some one else with the same jig saw recommended these blades. I sure and glad I got them! They cut fast, true and accurate. They give an almost "sanded" finish to the kerf and need very little surface clean up.
