I do allot of PVC conduit work, and these bits are by far the way to go. They drill fast, and last a long time. Surprised to see they were made in Japan, but don't let that fool you, They are of excellent quality! I now own the whole set up to 4 inches.

Amazon uses very deceptive advertising on this item. Picture of ad clearly shows the core bit attached with a shank and centering pin. When I received the item there was only the core drum, no shank or centering pin. I reviewed the ad and saw a mention well down the page of ad stating a shank was needed. It did not state a centering pin was needed. I had to order these parts seperately and the use of this item was further delayed.
