The RoomMate powered speaker system extends the benefits of your Lifestyle® system to the den, kitchen or wherever you love to listen. This slim, one-piece unit with plug-and-play simplicity fits almost anywhere. And the sound quality is pure Bose, backed by proprietary technologies that allow surprising fullness and clarity for a system this small.
The RoomMate speaker system comes with the most advanced Bose® remote control, the interactive Personal® music center II. This remote controls your Lifestyle® system, as well as most commonly attached components. If you own a Lifestyle® 48 or 38 system, it also gives you access to all the benefits of the uMusic®+ system. A backlit LCD screen provides a variety of system information, including title, track, artist and genre of any selection from your stored music. And it works through walls and floors, so you have access to your Lifestyle® system from almost anywhere around the house.
The RoomMate speaker system is also compatible with the Bose link AL8 homewide wireless audio link. So you enjoy music throughout your home, with no room-to-room wiring required.

Look up the reviews on places like Ecoustics and then look at the price!You can find stuff that sounds as good for probably half the cost.

Cuando lo compre lo hice por equivocación ,cuando me llego me di cuenta que tenia muchas ventajas , entre otras :ya que trae entrada auxiliar me sirve en el ipot ,computador ,y otros equipos portátiles. nota:Estos altavoces fueron hechos para trabajar con los equipos lifestyle-roommate.El unico inconveniente que le encuentro es que no tiene autonomia de volumen y depende del control de volumen de los equipos auxiliares que se conecten.gracias
