The Acoustimass 16 Series II home entertainment speaker system, our best home theater speaker system, provides the cinematic depth of six speaker surround sound for your home entertainment. It works with your 6.1-channel receiver and your home theater components to bring Bose® quality sound to movies, TV, sports and music. A horizontal center-channel speaker complements flat-panel TVs and blends nicely into your décor.
The Acoustimass 16 surround sound speaker system increases the impact of home theater listening with a rear center speaker for even greater drama and realism.
This heightened experience in music and motion picture listening is largely aided by a powered Acoustimass module for exceptional sound that appears to come only from the small speaker arrays.

I had this product professionally installed by a home theater expert. after 30 minutes the subwoofer stopped functioning. It was determine the subwoofer was defective. On this system all the speakers route through the subwoofer through a specific Bose wiring harness so the subwoofer is the heart of the speaker system. I contacted Bose and they basically said "tough luck, contact the seller". I had to order another complete system to swap out the gigantic subwoofer. As you can imagine, this was a huge inconvenience. The seller Tiger Direct has been ok as they said they would accept the first unit as a return. However, for $1,300 you would think you would get better quality and customer service from Bose. Buyer beware!

well im really satisfied with this product!!! i got it within four days i was really excited when i got it
when i conected to my avr was amazing great sound,and everything sound clearly i love music so i need good speakers..i really recomend this speakers!!!

It's very easy to set up. The surround sound quality is great for the price. There are probably better systems out there, but for the quality and price, this bose system is pretty hard to beat!
