The best investment I have ever made for my music! Dont fall for imitations or generics...NOTHING compares to the Bose brand! I purchased along with ear buds for my ipod...and I couldnt be happier! My friends all tease me because I tend to talk about my love for my Bose all toooo much! If you love and appreciate your music....this is the only way to honor it! I also recomend the extra hundred bucks for the portable feature...I am so glad I spent the extra money for the ability to charge the battery and be 'on the go'...I take my Bose everywhere! You wont be dissapointed.

After reading reviews from all of the Bose-haters out there, it was difficult to bite the bullet on this package. It took almost a year of research, but I finally did. And I couldn't be happier!

The sound is absolutely amazing! I still can't believe the crisp highs, clear voices and deep bass that comes out of this little unit. It's really easy to operate and the remote works from nearly 30 yards away!

Recently went to Asia and took this little baby with me. The travel bag in the music package fits perfectly and is easy to carry. Battery life has been great. I've gone 5 hours with the volume up pretty high without any problems. Earphones are also very clear (as you would expect from Bose). They are the only in-ear phones that I've been able to workout in without them slipping out of my ear. I run 4 times a week.

You can't go wrong with this package! I highly recommend it.

Like the other reviews I couldn't be happier with my Bose portable system. Make sure and spend the extra $100 to get the portable model it's well worth it. My wife almost killed me when she heard how much I paid for it, but now even she agree's it's the best electronics purchase I have ever made...and I've made alot! The Bose earbuds are also outstanding, I highly recommend them as well.

GAVE TO WIFE FOR HER IPOD. SHE IS NOT TECH SAVY BUT FOUND THIS EASY TO SETUP AND USE AND JUST LOVES THE QUALITY OF SOUND.

I bought this system for my ipod a year ago. I love it! Couldn't be happier with it. It's great quality and easy to travel with.

I have Bose indoor and outdoor hard wired speakers but I boughht this for places where the other speakers just can't reach. Like some others, I had to make the purchase in spite of my wife's objections due to price. We were not dissapointed. Bose quality just is fantastic and these speakers measure up to all the other Bose we have installed. This supplies music to those hard to reach places as well as my BIL's house on holidays. It sure beats listening to opera on Thanksgiving!!

I use the sounddock for around 40 hours per week at near max volume levels because I work in a loud manufacturing facility. I've had it for 10 months and have had no problems whatsoever. Battery life is great, sound is great...headphones are great (once you figure out the correct size of earbuds and perfect positioning in the ear canal), bag is nice, worth every penny to me and my coworkers love it.

At first i ordered another brand because I had heard it in a box store around town and it sounded great. Little did I know that if you carried it arou nd with you to enjoy at different locations, it would die a short life. Well to the rescue came Bose. I have been carrying this system with me through airports, on car trips, and currently it is on my shelf in my home office. The system sounds great...like Bose normally does. It's loud enough for my wife to yell turn it down and it travels like a champ. I am so impressed with this system, i will be recommending it to all my friends. A pair of Bose headphones also came with the package I ordered and they are awesome as well. Can't say enough good things about this purchase. I almost forgot, I got a carrying case as well. Score a win for Bose and their family of products. They are like no other!

I'm no Bose fanboy, but I decided to try this unit after getting a positive recommendation from a friend. My friend's model requires AC power to operate; I purchased the model with the built-in rechargeable battery. I'm very pleased with the battery life (over 5 hours at any volume) and the sound quality. The only negative is you must have the remote to change the volume. Not a fan of that design concept.

Prior to this I owned a LogiTech unit whose rechargeable battery completely died after less than a year, and even when it was working battery life was a couple hours at best. The Bose unit is twice the price but more than twice the capability.

I am completely happy with this purchase. Sound is excellent. Battery life is very long. I now have music everywhere that I go. I can hook up an ipod, or any mp3 player or phone... simply amazing! :)
