Enjoy both DVD and CD entertainment when out on the road with the Boss Audio BV3550 in-dash DVD/CD player (which doesn't include an AM/FM tuner or built-in amp). The DVD/CD player is compatible with standard DVD movie and CD audio discs as well as CD-R/RW discs and MP3 file burned to CD discs. It includes a composite A/V input on the front of the unit for connecting an external game console or media player, and it provides both composite A/V and S-Video outputs as well as a digital coaxial audio output (for Dolby Digital and DTS surround sound). Other features include NTSC/PAL compatibility, on-screen programming, ESP anti-skip mechanism, and a vacuum fluorescent (VFD) display.

I bought 2 of this Boss DVD players and it's a fake, it doesn't play most of my cd's, the font display is poor, you can not see anything during the day, the other one I haven't even opened yet, I'm going to sell it cheaper than I bought it, so I can get some of my money back, I had Pioneer before the Boss, I had to buy another of the same. you can imagine how I have spent because of these pice of junk

I think those in the Dominican Republic are buying fake knockoffs.

I cant fault this unit - does everything it says and reads everything I throw at it.

After I tested it for 1 week it just was really hard to make it read DVDs or CDs, whatsoever... The sound quality is not good... Its being 10 months since I bought this one and it went just back to the original box and replaced it with a JVC MP3/WMA receiver... Way better choice!
