This chair rolls smoothly, feels comfortable, and looks great. Not plush but its very nice looking. Does scratch easily when the bolts go in so be careful. Assembly instructions are minimal at best. Missing one internal screw thread on arm rest which we filled in with wooden toothpicks to secure it. Otherwise this chair feels good and looks perfect in the room we have it in. Would buy again.

Does what it is supposed to do. I have several pieces of furniture with different color/types of wood. Not possible to match the wood color to existing furniture. But, the chair works in fine. Thought the price might be a little high, but still is comparable to other chairs on the market.

I wrote a five star review for this chair the day after I got it. Now I've been sitting in it all day every day for two months and this is my more-accurate review of the product:

* The seat cushion is not thick enough to prevent a sore rear end after a whole day.

* The gas lift unit won't hold it's position any longer and BOSS was happy to sell me another for $13 if I agreed to pay $14 for Fedex shipping for it!

* There is no warranty offered from amazon.com beyond 30 days ... and BOSS will not warrant their products if not purchased directly from them.

So, this is a great looking chair for very little money compared to other brands costing $300 or more, but you get what you pay for. I wonder how long the new gas lift unit will last. If I'm forced to replace this integral part of the chair a second time, I'll fab up a steel pipe and paint it black and leave it at the height I need, which is at the top. BTW, I only weigh half of what this chair is rated for, so that's not the issue.

Chair was easy to put together and is comfortable. Seat cushion is not very thick so helps to have some natural padding for a more comfortable seat if you are parked in the chair for a while. Chair looks nice and does not look cheap at all which is nice considering the price was much lower than many other comparable chairs. Overall a good value and felt like a smart buy for buying furniture on-line and not being able to touch and feel it prior to purchase.

I'm really enjoying my desk chair. It looks great with the other cherry furniture I have.

I ordered this last evening and then realized the seat cushion and casters is not the color originally shown. I went in to cancel it and found out it can't be. I am very upset on the "NOT as SHOWN" and would not recommend!!!!
