This is such a well done story of a teen crush coming full circle into adulthood. He was the poor older boy, she was the rich girl crushing in a bad way. But there is much more depth to this tale thanks to great backstories for each character in their home town. It's now almost ten years later and they meet again over business in the big city and their fortunes have reversed. All of the usual ingredients come into play: longing, erroneous assumptions, explosive passion, and then the bargaining. And the characters bargain with themselves and each other as they come to grips with their very real adult relationship. The author handles all these fine strings so well, and gives the reader a love story to treasure. Jared and Amanda Demanda are so good together, I've read this twice since it came out! Enjoy!

I like the chemistry between Amanda and Jared- it was hot. Plus they had history. Going from a young teenager with an abusive alcholoic parent who worked with Amanda's Grandfather to a super rich and powerful millionaire who now had Amanda in his employ, Jared just couldn't resist Amanda. This time, tables were turned, but Amanda still felt the way she did earlier. Enjoyable!
