It's OK,

I play acoustic guitar and sing, and needed a "drummer" to help me keep on track. This works "OK". I wouldn't say it's stellar. When we have more people playing than just myself, the volume is not loud enough for everyone to hear. It also takes a bit of fiddling with to figure out how to get certain beats, and adjust the timing. It's not the best tool for a techo-tard like me. And for the money, doesn't seem all that robust and well made.
It does serve it's purpose when I take the time to familiarize myself with it (something I seem to have to go through each time I get it out) and when it's quiet in the room (no other people playing). So I give it a middle of the road rating.

this is an excellent tool for all percussionists - my son used it to prepare for his college auditions, and it was extremely helpful - I highly recommend this metronome!
