This review is from: Boss High Back Executive Fabric Chair, Black (Kitchen)
Was more difficult to put together than I had hoped. One of the screws that attaches the base to the seat simply would not screw in all the way. It also does not lean back easily. I tend to slouch down and lean back when working at my desk with my feet up. This chair does not allow for that. It does lean back, but stiffly - and won't let you stay in that position.
The seat is comfortable enough, though the back is higher than I thought it would be (despite the words "High Back" in the item name) and doesn't really allow me to lean my head back. In fact, it sort of forces my head forward a bit. The armrests are quite hard and uncomfortable to rest elbows on - I'd prefer to have some padding. It is also not as wide as I'd hoped. I'm medium sized (5'9" and 155 lbs - how's that for full disclosure?)and if I were much bigger I don't think I'd find this chair a comfortable fit. It rolls quite easily on the coasters and the tension for reclining is adjustable to some degree, but not enough to suit me. It's an acceptable chair for the price, but I probably wouldn't buy a chair like this again. Next time I'll buy one at a store where I can try several out in person before buying.

Boss High Back Exective Chair,

This review is from: Boss High Back Executive Fabric Chair, Black (Kitchen)
Ordered three of these chairs, to replace 10 year old similar high back fabric chairs from Office Depot. The quality is about the same, but the Boss chairs are slightly smaller in seat, both in length and width. As with the cheap OD chairs, these Boss chairs are definitely not for people over the max. weight of 250 lbs.
If you looking for a cheap home office or small office chair, this should work in most cases. Nothing fancy, but adequate.

Cheap Fabric,

It is really not an appropriate chair for a professional -- the fabric feels and looks like a cheap polyester suit. Believe me, you wouldn't want to spend your day sitting in it, let alone have clients seeing you in it. There are far nicer fabric chairs -- think Bombay Furniture. Unfortunately, you would have to go to Canada to shop in one of their stores.

This chair is very nice looking and for the most part is comfortable. My only complaint is that the seat is sloped downwards and you cannot recline back.

I selected this product, because I liked the color. But the color is as good as the chair. It is perfect for my needs. It replaced an office chair that was much larger, and I needed a smaller one. It is exactly the right size and has great comfort. It is great for protecting your back against stress. It was easy to assemble and is a perfect match for my desk. Although the seat can be raised or lowered it was perfect for my desk just out of the box. If you want an affordable desk chair that is impressive in both its looks and comfort, this is the one that meets your needs.
