The chair arrived promptly and was fairly simple to put together and the seat cushion is fairly substantial. The Pneumatic gas lift works fine as well but that's the end of the good points.

The product description says there's an adjustable tilt tension knob (which there is) only thing is the chair doesn't tilt. The high back would be nice IF it actually supported your back, but the curvature of the back of the chair is designed that it doesn't even come close to your back (when sitting up straight). You must be leaning back to come in contact with the back of the chair and leaning even further back to have your head be supported by the top of the chair. I don't know about most people but I don't usually 'lay down' when trying to 'sit' at my desk and work. I'm disappointed that I spent such a large sum on such a poor quality chair, especially when what I was most looking for was support for my back as I do a lot of computer work at my desk.

This chair is uncomfortable and very cheaply made. The back isn't high enough to rest your head. The depth of the cushion isn't long enough to support your thighs unless you are very short. On top of all this, the chair wasn't that easy to put together; it took over an hour plus a phone call to the manufacturer for additional instructions.

Please listen to the reviews on here! If you see a five star for this product, there's a HIGH probability it is a company representative commenting because anyone who has used this product cannot possibly rave about it. This is a TERRIBLE product!! It's highly uncomfortable and was a pain to put together (I had to wrestle with it during that ordeal!). DO NOT purchase this. After putting this medieval torture device-contraption together, I sat in it and immediately began to pay for the sin of having used my hard earned money to buy this instrument that would've outraged Satan himself! I don't think chairs found in reform schools designed to promote proper posture is as comfort-less (or merciless) as sitting in this "chair". There is NO neck or back support whatsoever--in fact, the when you attempt to lean back comfortably, it's as though the back of the chair was trying to shove you off of the seat. Now I am left with a contraption in which I 'perch' close to the edge of the seat and am out of almost two-hundred dollars. Sillily, I threw out the box in which this "chair" came in along with the packaging slips needed to ship it back. You have been warned!
