Set on a five-star nylon base with hooded casters, the chair features a thickly padded seat and back with built-in lumbar support. A waterfall shape on the seat front reduces stress to legs, and the seatback height and depth are fully adjustable. A pneumatic mechanism raises and lowers the seat for customized height. Boss upholsters the chair in a material called LeatherPlus, which is leather infused with polyurethane for increased smoothness and durability. The upholstery is black for maximum versatility and can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

I got this same chair 5 years ago through a local office supplies store and love the chair--I no longer ever sit on the sofa or armchair, just my rolling leather chair. It is leather and I probably should be doing some sort of regular leather treatment on it but haven't so the leather on the seat sides is cracking which is shy I looked for a replacement in Amazon. I've had no proplems adjusting the chair. It's far more comfortable then similar fabric chairs we use at work. I even put it together myself with no help (so you know assembly had to be easy)--didn't even cut myself or bruise anything!

It's an excellent chair. However, more thought could be given to the assembly instructions - both printed and on-line. Assembly was mostly a case of guesswork and "hope this will work". The height adjustment was a total - and pleasant - surprise. With some good guesses it went together.

I searched high and low for a leather desk chair that was small and didn't have arms. I have pets and all the cloth chairs attract pet hair like a magnet and it gets stuck in the fabric and is virtually impossible to get out. This chair is exactly perfect for my needs. I find it very comfortable. I am assuming it was easy to put together as my husband put it together and I never heard any grumbles or cursing coming from the other room. LOL. I will say that it does have a chemical smell to it that needs time to air out and fade away.
